Gary Abram - Gary's search career dates back to 1979 when he joined Christopher and Long after professional baseball, coaching and teaching, and insurance. Subsequently, he formed his own search firm called Partners Group and later had a corporate gig as EVP-Development for the largest domestic freight forwarder, EGL. Gary started HCap International in early 2001 and now it has fifteen partners, as well as HCap Search.
Dave Flanders - Dave has been involved in the search business since 1973 with Christopher and Long (then called ESP). Dave became president of C&L in 1976 and led the company through phenomenal growth adding engineering, insurance, and agri-business to the original core business of data processing. Dave brings his vast knowledge of the IT world and consummate people skills to HCap Search.
Barry Tower - Barry joined the C&L Insurance Division in 1980 and quickly established himself as one of the top search consultants in the US. Barry's client list includes most primary and reinsurance companies in the country. His database of commercial lines underwriters is probably the most complete of any search company in the nation. Naturally, Insurance is a tremendous strength of HCap Search.
Mark Tapko - Mark began his career in the Claims field. He brought that expertise to C&L in 1995 and has successfully recruited insurance and IT professionals. Along with claims, Mark specializes in the tougher job categories like actuaries.
Zach Carruthers - Zach joined HCap in 2002, applying the same winning spirit that brought him success during his collegiate football days. In addition to leading many of our business development initiatives, Zach has completed high level searches for key executives in a broad range of industries with a special focus in technology, banking/financial services and insurance. Before joining HCap Zach held operational and business development positions for a successful dot.com. Zach holds an Economics degree from the University of Missouri. His hobbies include golf, competitive sailing and alpine skiing.
Jeanne Hull - joined HCAP in June of 2004 with over ten years of experience in human resources, business development and consulting. Jeanne's mission as Director of Business Development is to aggressively drive our firm's growth in the areas of sales and "boutique" human services offerings. As part of this growth strategy, HCAP has partnered with the NAIA to create the NAIA Career Center. The Career Center enables employers to target and recruit the exceptionally talented students and alumni at our 290+ member colleges and universities nationwide.
